Like a comet blazing 'cross the evening sky gone too soon...

I woke up in the middle of my routine Monday evening nap to a text from a co-manager. A co-worker, who is currently in the process of relocating to Virginia, was involved in an accident on her way back to NYC. Her son, who was also in the car, was rushed to the hospital unconscious. I was a bit groggy and disoriented, as it usually happens during my late day naps and placed the phone down, falling back asleep. A couple of hours later, I woke up to call my overnight supervisor to discuss tasks for the evening. When he asked me if I had heard, I informed him about the text I received... Silence...

Tomorrow is going to be a very difficult day at work.
