My Little Nuggets: Social Adventures On The Grindr Train

Lately, I have found myself being VERY social, and surprisingly enough, it has not involved any exchange of body fluids! I have been conducting some rather interesting anthropological research involving homosapiens of the homosexual nature by way of Grindr. I have come to term my subjects "nuggets."
Yes! I am taking the liberty of borrowing from Chelsea Handler's vernacular, because it is the most accurate term I can use to describe my subjects. They are slightly smaller in height to me, yet meaty and muscular. And while I want to dip them in Fenmore Salsa, I have adopted a rather Christian approach during my social networking sessions.

I may be feeling very much like a Mother Teresa-Agnes of God hybrid. However, my chastistic (is that even a word? If not, I here by trademark it!) ways have afforded me the opportunity to learn more about the person beyond the obvious fact that: One subject's nipples are the highway to his pleasuredome. While other will probably fuck me like something out of a German-Punk-Industrial-Soldier Fetish Porn. And to that I say, "Machen Sie mir bitte für sie Soldat!"

Be on the lookout for the sonsofbitches who bootlegged my record!

Are you a person with morals or couth who brushes their teeth in the morning? Do you even have teeth? Maybe with the money you made from the bootleg you can go and buy yourself...*A* tooth. - I Got My Education, Uncanny Alliance

And so begins one of my ALL TIME favorite house tracks. Well depending on which mix you have - I have about six of them. Much like Party Girl, this song has been a catalyst for several of my friendships.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Alot can happen in 7 years...

...Some kinda wonderful, some rather unfortunate. What matters most is how we handle it. A couple of nights ago, I caught up with a friend I had not seen in quite sometime. Despite the slings and arrows life has aimed his way, he's managed to get along quite well. I must admire his courage and candor. He'll be taking a break from NYC very soon. I'm hoping it will be a short one.

Pensamientos

Sitting on the train, on my way to run an errand, and I find myself thinking a multitude of things. One of which is undeniably true. I am very fortunate and blessed, and would only hope others would take the time to acknowledge this within themselves.

Today...

I learned, to make peace with the dragon, often supercedes the need or desire to slay it.

The DRAMA starts here...

Thus far this week I have been met with:
  • Car trouble.
  • An exploding fire extinguisher.
  • Exposure to a supposedly non-toxic dry chemical, that has sent four co-workers to the ER.
  • The passing of an in-animate loved one.
  • Two mild anxiety attacks.
And to think, it's only Wednesday!

R.I.P. Ruby Weaver

Earlier today I was waiting at Madison Computer for the return of Ruby Weaver, who's seemingly not coming home as her old self.

I had just recently arrived from my trip to Florida. As usual, most of the trip was documented via videos and pictures. While I had intended on backing up my iPhoto folder, I had not gotten to it when Ruby decided it was time to go on permanent sleep mode.

While the memories linger, many documented moments are now gone. Fortunately, I have my Blog and FaceBook to look back on.

Looks like it's to make room for the future.

Today...

Had a wonderful day with the Mom and friends, both old and new. Sometimes you gotta let unexpected train take you for a ride, it may just end up being worth the trip.

And...

I realize now that controlling the uncontrollable is just about as easy as fighting a wildfire with a gallon of water.

It's fascinating how one random, seemingly isolated incident manages to have a direct connection to a particular reality one may be reluctant to face.

A breakdown? A breakthrough? No matter the label, life, like a good book, can be quite a page turner. Just remember, if you don't read it carefully and thoroughly, you may need to revisit a few pages.

Such was the case last night...

Thank You, Mommie Dearest!

I never wanted to repeat the mistakes of my mother. And quite often, I chose not to heed her warnings. Today, I can honestly say, I am glad I have made some major fuck ups, from time to time. My experiences have inspired a new level of respect and admiration for her. Some would say, I'm a chip off the old block. I say, I'm a pube off the old cunt. I love you Mom!
